The COVID Hobby
Rouse House Aerials began long before the business ever existed, rooted in a lifelong passion for filming, editing, and all things tech. During COVID, I picked up my first drone as a way to get outside and explore, and what started as a simple hobby quickly escalated. I upgraded from that first beginner drone almost immediately, and once I discovered FPV flying on YouTube, I was hooked. That spark kicked off years of learning, crashing, rebuilding, and mastering the craft.
By 2021, I was flying regularly, and in 2022 Rouse House Aerials was officially founded in Southern California. Since then, we’ve grown into a professional aerial cinematography company trusted across film, commercial, and live-event productions. Our work spans feature films, commercials, concerts, music videos, social media content, and live sports broadcasting. All driven by the same curiosity and passion that started with that very first drone.
